    Most course platforms give you a way out of transaction fees. Pay for the top tier, the fee drops to zero. Mighty Networks works differently. Their Growth plan is three hundred fifty-four dollars a month — the priciest standard tier of any community platform I've reviewed — and it still charges half a percent on every sale. The entry plan charges two percent. The mobile app plan charges one percent. Half a percent is the floor. I went through their pricing page, their help center, and our Help Scout conversations with creators who've used and left the platform. Here's what Mighty Networks users are actually saying in two thousand twenty-six. Full disclosure — I'm the CEO of Ruzuku, which is a competing platform. I'm not hiding that. But the data here comes from Mighty Networks' own pricing page and help center. And I'll give the platform credit where it's earned — the AI Cohost tool, the native mobile experience, and the group feel are genuinely strong. You deserve the full picture. Let's walk through the real cost structure. Launch is seventy-nine dollars a month with a two percent transaction fee. Scale is one hundred seventy-nine dollars a month with a one percent fee. Growth is three hundred fifty-four dollars a month with a half percent fee. And Mighty Pro is custom enterprise pricing, also at half a percent. Here's the math that matters. At twenty thousand dollars a month in revenue, Launch costs you seventy-nine dollars for the plan plus four hundred dollars in transaction fees. Total — four hundred seventy-nine a month. Scale costs you one seventy-nine plus two hundred in fees. Total — three seventy-nine a month. Growth costs you three fifty-four plus one hundred in fees. Total — four fifty-four. The best math lands on Scale, but you can't escape the fee. At a hundred thousand in annual revenue, Growth still costs you six thousand a year before you teach a single lesson. And there's no annual discount on the public pricing page — what you see is what you pay. The second pattern is the mobile app. Mighty Networks built its brand on the native mobile experience — that's why creators pick it over Slack, Discord, or Circle. But the branded app — the one with your logo, your colors, submitted to the app stores under your name — requires Scale at one seventy-nine a month or higher. The Launch plan gets you into the generic Mighty app. Fine for testing. Not fine if you're promising members a white-label experience. And the app situation gets more complicated. To be fair, Mighty Pro — the enterprise tier — includes custom-built iOS and Android apps with dedicated strategy services. If you're a high-revenue coach or brand, that tier makes sense. But for a creator building their first paid community, jumping from seventy-nine to one seventy-nine a month just to get the branded app feels like the upsell the marketing funnels you toward. Map out whether you really need the branded app before you commit. Most new creators can launch on generic and upgrade later. The third pattern is one most affiliate reviews miss. In twenty twenty-five, Mighty Networks renamed all their plans. What used to be Community, Courses, and Business became Launch, Scale, and Growth. Prices shifted. Fee percentages changed. And if you search for Mighty Networks reviews today, half the results still reference the old plan names with the old prices and the old fees.     Can You Switch From Mighty Networks?

    Yes, but migration requires planning. You'll need to export your content, rebuild your course structure on the new platform, and redirect your members. Student enrollment and payment history don't transfer automatically between platforms.

    Educators who've made the switch tell us the main friction is member communication — letting your community know about the move and getting them to create new accounts. The content migration itself is usually straightforward (download materials, re-upload to the new platform). One creator who migrated a large, active Facebook group to Mighty Networks had to abandon the project after two months, describing the admin experience as "NOT for solo entrepreneurs." Another Trustpilot reviewer spent 60-70 hours building out their network architecture and found no human support when they needed help.     No consumer protection for buyers. An unusual complaint for this category: a Trustpilot reviewer reports that Mighty Networks provides no assistance when a community host fails to deliver purchased services. There's no refund mechanism for end users, and the platform explicitly states it's a hosting service with no responsibility for what hosts sell.
