Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. If you upgrade, you'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing period. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing date.

Here's the truth: Ruzuku doesn't charge any transaction fees on your course sales. The only cut on a sale is your payment processor's standard fee (Stripe or PayPal, typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). We believe your success shouldn't cost you more.

If Ruzuku isn't the right fit for you, simply cancel within the first 30 days of activating your subscription and we'll refund your entire payment. No questions asked, no hard feelings.

Yes! On the Pro plan, you can connect your own custom domain so your courses live at yourdomain.com instead of a Ruzuku subdomain.

Yes! This is one of the things that sets Ruzuku apart. We provide friendly tech support not just for you, but also for your students. If they have trouble logging in or accessing content, they can reach out to us directly.

The Free plan lets you create unlimited courses and try out all the core features with up to 5 enrolled students at a time — no credit card, no time limit. It's designed for pilot launches: build your first course, enroll real students, collect feedback, and sell with zero transaction fees. Upgrade to Core or Pro when you're ready to enroll more.

Your existing students keep full access to your courses — nothing changes for them. The 5-student cap applies to new enrollments only: if you already have more than 5 students enrolled, they stay, but you can't add new ones until your active enrollment count drops below 5. You can still run live meetings, release new lessons, and support the students you have. Upgrade back to a paid plan anytime to enroll more.

Yes. The Free plan includes full payment processing with zero platform transaction fees — the same as our paid plans. Connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, set your course price, and pay Ruzuku nothing on the sale — only your processor takes a cut (typically 2.9% + $0.30). You can sell paid courses and offer free enrollments. The only limit on the Free plan is that you can have up to 5 students enrolled at a time across your account.

If your payment fails or you cancel your subscription, your account moves to a limited state — equivalent to the Free plan — rather than being deleted. Your existing courses stay intact, your students keep full access to everything they've already enrolled in, and you can still schedule meetings and release new lessons for them. You just can't enroll new students beyond 5 until you reactivate your subscription. Your course content, student data, and sales history are preserved indefinitely.

Most teaching features — unlimited courses, built-in video meetings, optional Zoom integration, community discussions, unlimited video hosting, and zero transaction fees — are available on every plan, including Free. Core and Pro add unlimited student enrollments, tech support for your students, and unlimited course invitations. Pro-only features include custom domain, certificates of completion, multiple instructor accounts, public storefront, digital product sales, AI video transcription and captions, Zoom recording integration, and 4 GB video uploads (vs 2 GB on Free and Core).

Yes to upgrading back, no to data loss. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your courses, students, enrollments, sales history, and content all stay intact when you switch plans. When you downgrade to Free, existing students keep full access — only new enrollments are capped at 5 at a time. When you upgrade back to Core or Pro, the cap is lifted immediately and any existing enrollments above 5 stay in place. Ruzuku never deletes your courses when you cancel — your data is always preserved.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
